Michael Carter Williams on the BULLS - our thoughts

by Manny Roman

When the Bulls trade for Michael Carter-Williams was announced initially I was jumping for joy for two reasons. The first of those reasons being we got rid of Tony Snell who, alongside Marquis Teague, was one of the worst draft picks in recent memory for the Bulls. He is a player that has very little to offer besides being an average three point shooter at 35% for his career. The other reason I was excited was that we were getting a very talented player in Michael Carter-Williams. Not only…

Cubs v. Dodgers

       by James Darby

The NLCS is all set between the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers. In my eyes I can see this being a series baseball fans will be talking about for years after. And rightfully so, no matter who comes out on top between the two teams a long world series drought will come to an end. The Cubs haven’t been to the World Series since 1945 while the Dodgers haven’t been to the fall classic since 1988. MLB couldn’t have asked for a better match up in the NLCS, as this features two of the…

by James Darby

Can Dallas Maverick’s owner Mark Cuban predict the future? Well two years ago in 2014, Cuban at the time said the NFL was ten years away from “implosion.” Many people at the time thought Cuban’s prediction was crazy especially after the NFL in 2014 saw a 35% increase in football being America’s favorite sport. That’s what Chicago Bull’s owner Jerry Reinsdorf and general manager John Paxson had a lot of Bull’s fan believing would be happening this offseason after last years disappointment in which the team went 42-40 under first year head coach Fred Hoiberg. The team failed to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2007-08 season and everyone in Chicago was expecting change and boy was there change.
First lets look at who has left the Bulls and how this will…

Cubs in the Post-Season

by James Darby

It’s time to celebrate Chicago! The Cubs are 2016 National League Central Division Champions. Although it’s all good times right now on the north side of Chicago and everyone is excited about the division championship, Joe Maddon and his team know this is just the first goal they have reached and even though they didn’t get to celebrate the division crown on the field at Wrigley, the Cubs would rather celebrate a World series title at Wrigley. To get to that World Series title Joe…
